It is HOT. Apparently, this heat dome has something to do with corn sweat, so we’re all suffering for Bourbon right now. Here are some high ball recipes to try to beat the heat. Last week I mixed Cherry Sprite Zero with Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel Bourbon and it was way better than it had any business being. I’m also a big fan of an egg white whiskey sour (RIP Jim Beam Urban Stillhouse) in the summertime, but you can even use Bourbon in your tropical cocktails.
