Barrel Pick:
A World Whiskey Society Barrel Pick for a Cause
_
Hosted by World Whiskey Society, this special event benefits Daxton Larimore, a courageous young warrior in need of a heart transplant due to congenital heart disease (CHD). Every pour, every pick, and every bottle supports his journey and helps fund life-saving care.
Hearts & Barrels started in honor of Dillion Larimore’s son, Daxton, who will one day need a heart transplant. As a heart dad, nothing prepares you for hearing those words or for the road that follows, hospital stays, uncertainty, fear, and holding onto hope every single day.
Through this journey, he’s learned that his family isn’t alone. There are so many heart kids and families fighting battles most people never see. Hearts & Barrels was created to turn that fight into purpose, to bring people together through something he loves, whiskey and community, and use it to make a real difference.
Every donation and every share helps push this mission forward.
All the money raised goes directly to the local heart foundation to support heart kids and their families, helping with medical costs, travel, resources, and easing the financial and emotional burden that comes with living this life.
This event is more than whiskey. It’s about heart, hope, and community. It’s about turning barrels into blessings and standing together for kids like Dillion’s son, Daxton.
The Barrel Pick Experience
Each barrel will be carefully selected with the same attention to character, depth, and craftsmanship that defines World Whiskey Society releases—making this a bottle that means as much as it tastes.
Long before John Henry Holliday became known throughout these United States as "Doc" – and also "the slickest gunslinger in the west" – he was a darn good… dentist. Classically educated in Humanities and Mathematics, by 20, he graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (hence the nickname) from one of the top schools in the nation.
Today we know him as the symbol of loyalty in the Wild West and the hero of the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral. Despite all the perils of the Frontier, he remained an even-tempered, well-mannered Southern gentleman until his untimely end at 36 years of age.
We salute Doc Holliday as the epitome of a true friend and a loyal companion.
