Chip Tate is widely regarded as a pioneer of the American craft distilling movement, known for his meticulous, hands-on approach and his willingness to push the boundaries of traditional whiskey production. The World Whiskey Society, meanwhile, has built its reputation on sourcing and presenting ultra-premium expressions previously unavailable to even the most discerning collectors.

Together, they have produced something truly singular. Tate's whisky sensibility guides the marriage of Japanese single malt character with carefully selected bourbon and Port Ruby barrels, finished using WWS' renowned methods. The result is a 102-proof (51% ABV), 750ml bottling that delivers on every level  from the first pour to the final sip.

On the nose, expect wine-soaked ripe pear, crème brûlée, golden raisin, and baking spices, layered with a rich umami character. The palate is elegantly malty, with the barrel finish adding depth without overwhelming the spirit's core identity. The finish is long and dry, lingering with dark brown bread and salted caramel.
