Tasting Notes

Nose
A symphony of delicate vanillas graced by a thread of acacia honey invites a patient exploration, for it is through the nose that the most alluring essence of this malt unfurls. Within its embrace the malt emerges as a quiet maestro, orchestrating sweet subtleties and oaky depth, accented by notes of marzipan. A beautifully balanced ensemble that invites careful contemplation, affirming that to truly understand this whisky, time must be taken over the nose.

Palate
An intricate dance of flavor unfolds, where the malt takes centerstage, accompanied by gentle cadence of semi-sweet grist. Ulmo honey and fragile grist blend seamlessly, their union masterfully orchestrated to ensure harmony prevails. A soft spice crescendo adds nuance without overpowering, while the honey's soothing touch lingers.

Finish
A gentle tang, a tribute to the passage of time, weaves its presence into the finale. The vanillas, dry and persistent, carry the legacy of the hogshead's journey to the very end, a bittersweet echo of it's enduring tale
